Cut fresh loaf of french bread in half lengthwise.
Mix together:
1/4 lb. softened butter
1/2 lb. grated cheddar cheese
1/4 c. minced green onions
1/4 c. chopped, fresh parsley
Spread both sides of french bread with mixture. Put together and cut into 1" slices. Wrap in tin foil and place in oven for 20 - 30 min. at 350. - LouAnn Gilliat
